Becoming a fundraising volunteer
I’m interested in becoming a volunteer for together we can…
You can visit the volunteering section on our website to see what opportunities are currently available, and read about different volunteer’s experiences. You can also get in touch with our support care team at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 020 7848 7915 to find out more.
What is the difference between a hospital volunteer and a fundraising volunteer?
A fundraising volunteer helps the fundraising team with activities such as events organisation, office support and spreading the word about SLaM's work, but has no direct contact with service users.
A hospital volunteer will have a role within South London and Maudsley, such as greeting and directing service users when they first arrive, or visiting them on the ward. South London and Maudsley has its own scheme, and you must contact them directly through their website.
