Who we are

Maudsley Charity

Maudsley Charity is the body responsible for endowing the funds that we raise to South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust

The charity dates back to 1247, when Alderman FitzMary (former Sheriff of the City of London) donated the money to create the Priory of St Mary of Bethlehem. This institution later became Bethlem Hospital.

Maudsley Charity funds many different projects: find out about the services the charity helps to support.
